Jane Remer and Paul King
On Thursday May 7th, Magic Box Productions hosted FOCUS 2015 at the Poet's Den Gallery in East Harlem, where Paul King, Executive Director of the Office of Arts and Special Projects for the NYC Department of Education and Jane Remer, Author, Philanthropist and Arts Education Evaluator were honored for their extensive and remarkable contributions to Arts and Education.
With 43 spectacular examples of Magic Box Productions’ student photography and video work on exhibition, the gallery was filled with a capacity crowd gathered to celebrate.
Special remarks were given by Dr. Dorita Gibson, Senior Deputy Chancellor of the NYC Department of Education. In addition to viewing our MBP exhibition, a fabulous silent auction featured items from Kate Spade New York, The Globe Theatre London and many more.
